Rhoda Phillips brings over twenty years of experience in the mental health field, having worked in a wide range of settings including inpatient, residential, community mental health, and assertive community treatment programs. Throughout her career, she has utilized a variety of therapeutic tools such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to support her clients.
Her areas of specialization include depression, anxiety, grief, and chronic medical issues. She is also deeply committed to working with individuals diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease, offering compassionate care and support during a very challenging time.
Rhoda’s therapeutic approach is client-centered and grounded in empathic listening, with a strong emphasis on tailoring her support to meet each individual's unique needs.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wesley College and a Master of Social Work from Widener University.
