Experience

With over 20 years of experience in Delaware’s Family Court and Family Service systems, Corri brings a unique and comprehensive understanding of family dynamics, shaped by her professional roles and personal life journey. She has served as the Liaison for Delaware's Division of Services for Children, Youth and Families (DSCYF) and Sussex County Family Court. Corri also spent several years contracting her services to agencies across Delaware as a Supervised Visitation Specialist, a Therapeutic Support for Families, and a Family Support Peer. Corri is a Family Crisis Therapist at an elementary school by day, and supports New Beginnings Family Services’ commitment to providing non-traditional office hours for scheduled sessions and groups in the evenings and weekends.

Education & Credentials

Corri's MSW graduate degree from Delaware State University is preceded by her undergrad degrees in Behavioral Science, B.S., Legal Studies, A.A.S., and ABA Paralegal Certificate. She is a Co-Parenting Specialist®, BeH2o™ Co-Parenting Coach, Certified Family Reunification Specialist, and Certified Custody Evaluator. Corri is also a Supervised Visitation Network Provider.

Corri is a proud member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), and the Supervised Visitation Network (SVN).

Outside of Work

When she’s not working with children and families, Corri enjoys spending time with her family & friends, hosting gatherings in her backyard, and supporting community events. Corri specializes in Family and Forensic Social Work. This includes Family Court-involved families, children, and individuals. Corri provides a range of services using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches that holistically support you, your child, and/or your family. Services are provided in office, virtually, at home, in the community, and travel as needed. Schedule a Service Consultation to discuss your individual service needs.

Insurance, Private-Pay, Billing

Corri does not accept insurance. Due to the nature of the very specialized services, the high demand, assurance of high-quality individualized care, and privacy protection, all services are private-pay. This allows her to spend more time focused on your needs rather than managing approvals, restrictions, pre-authorizations, or other mandated obstacles insurance companies require. Fees range from $75 to $200 per session and $400 -$1500 for Evaluations. A sliding fee scale is available for psychotherapy services only. Therapeutic Approach

Corri’s therapeutic approach is person-centered and trauma-informed. Her unique approach includes a collaborative blend of psychoeducation and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), guided by her belief that: “Education gives us the tools, and perspective helps us use them well.” She uses unique and relatable analogies to connect with clients on their level, making complex ideas accessible and engaging for individuals and families. Corri prides herself on her ability to make every client feel comfortable with her; she is open-minded, curious, and nonjudgmental, regardless of your circumstances, age, gender, relationship status, sexual preferences, socioeconomic status, religion, political views, or other identities and preferences.
