Rebecca Baker is a Master’s level Social Worker here at New Beginnings Family Services. A proud Delaware native, Rebecca has a deep passion for giving back to the community that has supported her throughout her life. She completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at York College of Pennsylvania and went on to earn her Master’s degree in Social Work from Delaware State University.
Since entering the mental health field in 2018, Rebecca has gained extensive experience working with diverse populations. She has provided support to individuals as young as five years old, members of the LGBTQ+ community, adults with intellectual disabilities, couples, and clients navigating both long-standing mental health diagnoses and new emotional challenges. Her clinical experience includes working with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, relational difficulties, and a wide range of other mental health concerns.
Rebecca understands that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming and intimidating. She strives to create a welcoming, supportive environment where clients feel safe and empowered. In every session, her goal is to walk alongside each individual, helping them discover their own unique path toward healing, happiness, and personal growth. With compassion and collaboration at the heart of her practice, Rebecca is committed to ensuring that no client has to face life’s challenges alone.
