Jeremiah Lofland, MSW-Intern
Jeremiah Lofland is a Social Work Intern at New Beginnings Family Services with a strong passion for mental health advocacy and holistic, client-centered care. He recently earned his B.S. in Psychology at Delaware State University and is currently pursuing his Master of Social Work. Jeremiah is especially interested in providing therapeutic services to athletes and individuals navigating high-pressure environments.
Jeremiah holds a background in psychology and brings experience in teamwork, leadership, and interpersonal communication to his clinical work. His involvement in athletics has shaped his understanding of the unique mental, emotional, and identity-related challenges athletes face both on and off the field/court.
In his clinical approach, Jeremiah values building strong therapeutic relationships, fostering resilience, and creating a supportive space where clients feel heard and empowered. He is particularly interested in working with concerns related to stress, anxiety, self-esteem, performance pressure, life transitions, and emotional regulation. Jeremiah is committed to ongoing professional growth and to supporting clients as they work toward healing, balance, and personal growth.
