Cheryl Chambers is a dedicated and experienced therapist with over 20 years in the mental health field. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wesley College and a Master of Social Work from Delaware State University. Her extensive background includes working in community-based programs, inpatient and outpatient facilities, residential treatment, prison-based settings, and military support, including serving as a Clinical Social Worker at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
In 2008, Cheryl founded New Beginnings Family Services (NBFS) in Milford, Delaware, with a mission to provide compassionate, client-centered care. She specializes in a wide range of concerns, including trauma, addiction, mood disorders, relationship issues, and more. Known for her direct, “Elephant in the Room” approach, Cheryl integrates strength-based therapeutic techniques, meditation, and hypnosis to help clients navigate life’s challenges.
She believes in creating a safe and judgment-free space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions. By incorporating spiritual perspectives when desired, she supports healing without judgment. Cheryl also provides clinical supervision for individuals seeking board certifications and licensure.
